An 83yr old man and his 47yr old daughter plunged with their car into the sea at around 5.45am this morning at M?arr harbour.
It is believed that the 83yr old man from Nadur accidentally reversed his Nissan Micra car off the quay.
A Gozo Channel employee, who saw the accident happening, jumped into the sea and rescued the father and daughter.
The two were rushed to hospital where they were both found to be in a stable condition. Unfortunately, the elderly man?s health has since deteriorated and he is now in danger of dying.
