The Gozo Business Chamber and the Gozo Tourism Association have called for a permanent representation for Gozo on the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development.
Whilst they welcomed the fact that some of the existing members are re-organising the forum, it is also noted that Gozo has remained without a representative on the council.
As the main business organisations for Gozo, they strongly urge the government to take the necessary steps to ensure that there will be a permanent representative from Gozo on the council.
