Boys who attend Museum classes in Xewkija yesterday escaped unhurt after a fire broke out when a gas lamp was accidentally overturned. There was a power cut after lightning struck in the area and a gas lamp was lit up, but it was accidentally overturned and the fire broke out.
The boys were immediately escorted out of the building by their teachers.
Civil Protection Department officers were called to the site and the fire was put out in about 30 minutes.
