The Bank of Valletta has extended a sponsorship to "Ohloq Tbissima Marathon 2008", a sixty hour transmission marathon in aid of missions in Peru, Pakistan and the Philippines and projects at St Joseph's Home is St Venera.
Michael Galea, Executive Head CEO's Office at Bank of Valletta presented the Bank's sponsorship to Fr Louis Mallia, Director of MSSP in the presence of Marthese Brincat, assistant director of Cam Productions International., during a visit to St. Joseph's Home where the stage for the marathon was being set up.
Amongst the special guests at this year's marathon will be the leading Maltese tenor, Joseph Calleja and Malta's representative at this year's Eurovision song contest, Morena.
The marathon is organized by Cam Productions International (CPI), the media arm of the Missionary Society of St Paul. This sixth edition of the marathon will commence at noon on Friday 11th July and will end at midnight on the 13th July 2008.
