The Bank of Valletta has made a donation of Lm2,000 towards the Eden Foundation during the live broadcast of the 4th edition of the Edenfest Marathon.
The Eden Foundation provides education and support to around 350 students. The purpose of the foundation is to provide partnership to people in Malta and Gozo with learning disabilities, in order to help them, achieve full inclusion to the best of their abilities by gaining access to mainstream education, employment and leisure activities - leading them to an independent life.
Presenting the donation, Michael Galea, Head CEO’s Office at Bank of Valletta said, “We are delighted to offer our support towards the most worthy work undertaken by the Eden Foundation within our society. The Social aspect constitutes an important pillar of BOV’s Community Programme whereby, every year, the Bank gives back part of its earnings to support wide ranging community initiatives in a number of areas”.
