BOV-seminar-investor-education.jpgBank of Valletta is organising another edition of its popular Investor Education Programme. The general public is invited to attend these seminars that will address topical issues ranging from the financial services world such as bonds and shares, long-term savings, life assurance, portfolio management and trusts, as well as collective investment schemes and structured products.

Organised between the 17th March and the 14th April at the Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala, these five, two-hour sessions will start at 18.00 hours. No prior knowledge of investment is required, and the seminars will be delivered in Maltese.

The speakers for every session are BOV employees who, not only have the necessary academic qualifications, but are experts in their respective areas.

Through these sessions the Bank is making use of its know-how to familiarise the community with the financial services world. The final session, which will be addressed by Geoffrey Bezzina on behalf of the Malta Financial Services Authority, will take a more practical approach, as participants will be invited to apply what they have learnt to a practical situation.

Participation is free of charge and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend all five sessions. Persons wishing to attend are kindly requested to reserve seating by phoning on 2275 3556, or by sending an email to iro@bov.com.... Seating is available on a first come first served basis.
