Bishop Mario Grech has appointed Fr Charles Sultana, from the Xaghra parish, as his personal secretary and also as vice parish priest of the San Lawrenz parish.
Fr Sultana was ordained in 2003. After his formation at the Gozo seminary and the Universita Angelicum in Rome, Fr Sultana served in a parish in Jalapa, Guatemala with Gozitan missionary Fr Anton Grech.
He studied for his Masters in pastoral counselling at the Fordham University in New York, where he also served as a priest.
