Bis-Sahha is an annual event organised by the Fundazzjoni Folkloristika Ta' Klula (Ta' Klula Folkloristic Foundation). It is a fusion of several activities, including: a Wine Festival, art, live music, traditional Gozitan food, dance, crafts and memories.
All events take place next Saturday, the 7th of June, in the main village square and surrounding streets and alleyways of Santa Lucija.
Santa Lucija is an ancient village in the southwest of Gozo, with a history spanning thousands of years. Despite being the smallest village in Gozo, it can boast of historical places such as Il-Mixta - the oldest inhabited place in the Maltese Islands, spectacular views of Gozo and Malta from top of Ghar Ilma hill and from top of the cliffs overlooking Xlendi and Dwejra.
Fundazzjoni Folkloristika Ta' Klula's main objective is to re-kindle tradition, history, culture and folklore through the organisation of events, such as Bis-Sahha and the popular Ikla tan-Nanna.
