The bank will be offering various added value benefits to all its Gozitan customers throughout the rest of this week.
The benefits and offers, which will be valid on Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 May, include a free Lifelink desk-set that will be given to each customer who takes up a life policy with a minimum annualised premium of Lm250 or a BOV Lifelink Single Premium and a BOV Lifelink Investment Bond with a minimum annualised premium of Lm1,000.
Various discounts will be offered including 50 per cent off processing fees on stockbroking services. Fee discounts will also be available on Valletta Fund Management funds while processing fees on BOV personal loans will be waived.
During the BOV Gozo Day on Friday, two BOV financial planning advisors will be at the branch in Victoria and will be offering a “financial health check” on the customers’ portfolio, including assets held with third parties.
“Apart from offering added value to our customers, we are making every effort to create a special environment at the branch on Friday,” said Jack Thewma, BOV’s manager in Gozo.
“Our customers will be able to see typical Gozitan Crafts and traditions such as lace-making, ganutell and spin-weaving by people in traditional costumes. We are also planning to have a selection of Gozitan delicacies on display and customers will have the chance to try these delicacies,” said Jack Thewma.
Commenting on this initiative, BOV’s CEO Tonio Depasquale said that Gozo has always featured high on Bank of Valletta’s agenda and, over the years, the bank has undertaken various initiatives directed at promoting sustainable development in Gozo, not only from an economic perspective but also at a social and cultural level.
“Bank of Valletta seeks to be close to the communities in which it operates and the Gozo Day is in line with this commitment to focus on the specific needs of our customers in Gozo and of the Gozitan community at large,” concluded Mr Depasquale.
