For the third consecutive year, the Bank of Valletta is holding a Gozo Week, the event is being held between today and Saturday.
“The BOV Gozo Week is an initiative that underlines the importance that Bank of Valletta gives to the Gozitan community,” said Jack Thewma, manager of BOV’s Gozo branch on launching the initiative.
“We will again be offering added value to our customers in Gozo through several special offers,” he added. These include free gifts with new Lifelink policies, discounts on the policy fee for new BOV Lifelink Investment Bonds, discounted fees on stockbroking transactions and discounts on VFM Funds fees.
Mr Thewma added that various activities will be organised at the bank’s branch in Victoria this week. “Following the positive feedback we had over the past two years, we have decided to hold an exhibition of traditional Gozo crafts at the branch again,” he said. There will be a variety of events throughout the week, including exhibitions by people in traditional costume who will demonstrate skills such as lace-making, ganutell and spin weaving.
Arrangements are also being made to have one of the Emvin Cremona paintings that have just been restored, with BoV’s financial support, to be displayed at the Victoria branch.
