Mr Austin Walker has today taken up his new role as Chairman of the Malta Environment & Planning Authority.
This new appointment comes in the wake of the MEPA reform which the government has said it has placed high on its agenda.
A Certified Public Accountant and Auditor, Mr Walker has held a number of high ranking positions both in the public and private sector over recent years.
To date Mr Walker occupied the post of Chairman of the Malta Resources Authority and director at the Malta Shipyards. He also was appointed chairman of the Co-operatives board and the Agri-cultural Export Marketing Board.
