The Alison White Dance Studio, together with students from the Mill Room will be performing at the Astra Theatre in Gozo today. The show, which is called The Journey, includes the participation of 190 students, ranging from three years of age up to advanced students. The performance takes the audience on a journey through the Sahara desert, the tropics, volcanic regions and finally to the North Pole.
The spectacular costumes are by Ernest Camilleri and Limelight Costumes, contemporary choreography is by Sandra Mifsud, Spanish by Maria Del Sol, Hip Hop by Stuart Vella, Tap and Ballet by Lisbeth White, Jazz and Ballet by Charles Duca, with additional choreography by Alison White herself.
The performance starts at 7.30pm, tickets may be purchased from the Astra Theatre. For further information, contact Alison White on 99420162. All proceeds are being donated to the Moviment Missjunarju Gesu fil-Proxxmu.
