Armed Forces of Malta soldiers detained three men on Sunday night after they allegedly threw drugs out of their car as they approached a vehicle check point in Victoria. It was later ascertained that the objects included a block of cannabis resin. All three men were from Xaghra and were aged around 28.
A 19yr old man from Sannat was also detained in a separate incident after he was found driving without a valid driving licence. Both cases were passed on to the police in Victoria for further investigation.
