Gozo Channel has announced that it will be performing an extra trip on Monday mornings to meet the heavy demand on this particular day of the week. The company will be operating half-hour departures on Mondays from 6am to 7.30am from Mgarr, and from Cirkewwa between 6.30am and 7.30am.
The peak summer timetable will end on Sunday, and the Mid-Season timetable will come into effect on Monday. The company has also confirmed that the airport bus shuttle from Cirkewwa to Malta will continue, the shuttle service runs a non-stop express trip from the airport to Cirkewwa and back.
The shuttle timetable has been scheduled to coincide with the most widely used flights and to the ferry mid-season schedule. This schedule will operate from the 24th of September to the 27th of October, it will then be revised to tally with the IATA airline schedule winter season.
The cost of the shuttle service is Lm2.15 (€5.01) for each one-way trip including the transportation of luggage. Tickets can be purchased upon boarding the bus or seats may be prebooked by contacting Gozo Channel on 22109001 or by sending an email to busservice@gozochannel.com...
First time travellers arriving at the airport are advised to seek assistance at the Gozo Bus Shuttle Meeting Point located in the Arrivals Hall. Travelers can also make their way directly to the departure point located at the bus stop opposite the Departure Hall.
For those traveling from Cirkewwa the departure point is located at the harbour.
