Daniel Felice, 18, of Gharb has been arraigned before the Gozo courts, he is accused of the attempted murder of Sean Holmes, a Briton, and causing him serious injury in a shooting which occurred on Thursday evening. His father, Silvio Felice, 52, was accused of possession of a firearm without a police licence and firing a weapon within 200 metres of an inhabited area.
Both men plead not guilty to the charges and were granted bail on personal guarantees of Lm2,000 and Lm200 respectively.
The Briton was alleged to have been shot three times but managed to make it to Cirkewwa on Friday morning, he was then taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he underwent an emergency operation, he is now said to be in a stable condition.
