Customers who apply for the SMS Mobile Top-Up service from BOV between the 28th of April and the 31st of May can benefit from 100 FREE SMS. This offer is automatically available to all new subscribers who make at least one SMS top up during the offer period.
“We are delighted to team up with both Go Mobile and Vodafone to promote the SMS Mobile Top-Up service from BOV,” said Ray Azzopardi, Executive Head responsible for Multichannel Banking at Bank of Valletta.
Mr. Azzopardi said that the SMS Mobile Top-Up service enables the customer to top up the mobile phone account instantaneously simply by sending an sms message. “An added value aspect related to this service is the fact that it is available not only in Malta but also in all countries where the customer’s mobile service provider has roaming arrangements. This enables us to support our customers to top up their mobile phone accounts even whilst they are travelling abroad,” explained Mr. Azzopardi.
The actual process to top up the mobile phone is very straightforward. Once a customer is registered, all he has to do is to send an SMS on 50616505 for a top up of €5 (Lm2.15), 50616510 for €10 (Lm4.29), 50616520 for €20 (Lm8.59) and 50616550 for €50 (Lm21.46).
The BOV Mobile Top-Up service is also accessible via the Bank’s ATM network, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Further information regarding this service as well as the promotional offer may be obtained from any BOV Branch, the Bank’s website www.bov.com, or by calling the Bank’s Customer Service Centre on 2131 2020.
