Last Saturday, dozens of volunteers from several local organisations built and restored over 200 meters of rubble walls at 'Ta Passi' fields as the 'Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem' project is starting to take shape. The volunteers also started to clean the surroundings, meaning that the project beside promising to be an attraction in itself, it is also literally turning 'Ta Passi' into a better place.
Meanwhile the Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information, Chris Said, paid a visit to 'Ta Passi' fields on Sunday morning where he was given a brief update.
The whole 'Ta Passi' area will literally be transformed into a 'live crib' and will offer a naturalistic reproduction of the environ of Bethlehem.
During the upcoming days, several floodlights will be installed around the fields so that work can continue till late. All volunteers are invited to give a helping hand.
