Due mainly in recent years to NGO's such as the FAA the ordinary person in the street is finding that his or her voice can be heard and will make a difference. 82% of the people of Qala spoke out against the proposed development at Hondoq, along with countless others from all over Gozo, Malta and indeed the world. All those small voices of people like Paul Buttigieg, John Mizzi, Astrid Vella, Carmel Cacopardo and others at AD to mention but a few have now amalgamated into an almighty roar against the environmental rape of this beautiful little island. Well done to all of you and keep up the good work. I second that swimmer.
