The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, will officially open the Gozo Fine Art & Sculpture Exhibition on Friday the 19th of September, at the Citadella in Victoria.
This is the second major exhibition that the Rotary Club Gozo has presented at the Citadella, and they are hoping to double the number of artists being featured following last years successful exhibition.
Apart from some of Malta and Gozo's well known artists, there will be up-and-coming painters and, for the first time, works from students of The Gozo Centre for Arts and Crafts. In all, over forty artists will be exhibiting.
All works will be available to purchase, the proceeds of which the Rotary Club Gozo will be devoting to its current preferred charities: The Friends of the Sick and the Elderly, Oasi, Wirt Ghawdex and "Happy Moments", in Kenya.
The exhibition will be open for all to attend and enjoy the wide range of works of art on display, which should appeal to everyone, not only art lovers.
The exhibiton will be open to the public from Saturday the 20th of September for eight days, there will be over one-hundred paintings and sculptures of all types and styles on display.
