This coming weekend, the Nadur Local Council are holding their annual, and very popular Christmas market.
There will be many activities taking place over the weekend, mostly under cover in a tented area. The festive theme of events will include handicraft stalls selling Christmas items, along with food and drink stands, a Crib in War time shelter created by Adonai Camilleri Cauchi, Christmas decorations and related items.
There will also be a full programe organized by Nadur Primary School, with Christmas workshops for children. On show will be an exhibition of baby Jesus figures "Bambini."
The main stage will have nonstop live entertainment over the weekend. including top singers, dance groups and choirs, with special guests Greenfields, David Azzopardi, Claudette Pace and Miriam Christine.
The opening times for the Christmas market are:
Friday the 5th of December from 10:30a.m. - 12:00p.m. and 6:30p.m. - 10:30p.m.
Saturday the 6th of December from 2:00p.m. - 11:00p.m.
Sunday the 7th of December from 2:00p.m. - 11:00p.m.
Monday the 8th of December from 11:00a.m - 5:00p.m.
