The Search And Rescue Team (S.A.R.T.) of the Malta Red Cross – Gozo Branch are continuing their cleanup of the Citadel’s bastion walls.
This ongoing project is aimed at controlling and removing the harmful vegetation that causes damage to the bastions.
To ensure a high degree of safety, industrial rope access techniques are being used to work at such great heights.
This year, the S.A.R.T. unit was also entrusted to clean up the retaining walls due to the documentation process that is currently going on.
This project is being carried out in close collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo.

Good luck for all the red cross and for all the things you are doing
