Sophie’s new single K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) launches officially in the Maltese Islands on 6th July, and Sophie is currently planning a mini-island tour on that date to promote the song, there will be more news on that to follow shortly.
Sophie has a full calendar of TV and Radio appearances planned to promote the single as well as rehearsing full-out for her UK launch at the end of August, where her debut single, a previous Malta No.1, The Clapping Song, continues to do well.
This song has now been playlisted at many radio stations across Spain, France, Monaco, Greece and Cyprus and is quickly establishing itself as one of the Mediterranean summer hits of 2009 and continues to grow Sophie’s popularity across Europe.
The great news is that Sophie has been invited to headline two major Malta Music Festivals in one weekend!
She has been invited by promoter, Eman Pulis, to Headline Zone 2 of this year’s Coca-Cola Malta Music Festival at the Montekristo Open Vaults on Saturday, the 25th of July, and the following day, Sunday, the 26th of July, Sophie headlines at The Farsons Great Beer Festival 2009 event at Ta’Qali National Park.
Sophie’s rapidly-rising new-found fame is now starting to attract the attention of major UK Press titles, who are sending over some representatives to follow her around Malta and cover her story on this amazing weekend at the end of July.
