The Northern Squash Club, Newcastle, will be visiting Gozo tomorrow. They are Visiting Gozo and Malta until the 16th of June to take part in a series of matches against local squash players.

Their trip kicked-off yesterday with a match at the Marsa Sports Club against a Marsa Squash Section select team.

Tomorrow they will travel to Gozo for a game against a team representing the Gozo Squash Association. This will be the first time that the ‘oids’ compete in Gozo and the team are looking forward to some challenging games.

The matches in Gozo are being held at the Hotel Kempinski from 16.30 – approx. 19.30. Entry is free and spectators are welcome to attend and watch what should be exciting and entertaining squash games.

On Saturday, the 13th, the team from Newcastle will be taking part in a one-day squash tournament held at the Marsa Sports Club. The tournament will see players from Newcastle, Gozo and Malta competing against each other. The tournament will feature separate events for ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ grade players giving players of different standards the chance to take part. The tournament will take place from 11.00 – approx. 18.30. Again, spectators are welcome to attend free of charge
