Following the world premiere of Sophie’s new single K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) last week, live at the 2009 Melita Malta Football Awards, f2f Music Limited are thrilled to announce that Malta’s XFM 100.2 have decided to add it straight on to their ‘A’ Category Playlist, as of Monday the 8th of June – the same day that Sophie’s debut single, a previous Malta No.1, The Clapping Song, goes on sale in the United Kingdom.
As soon as he heard K.I.S.S., XFM 100.2 Station Manager, Donny Hughes, contacted f2f Music Limited MD, Graham Mulvein, in order to congratulate Sophie, telling him that he believed that K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) is even stronger than Sophie’s debut record, The Clapping Song, and that he wished her well.
He went on to say, “XFM 100.2 strongly supports local Maltese talent, and I’m delighted to say that K.I.S.S. has made it straight on to the ‘A’ Playlist on Malta’s top radio station, XFM 100.2.”
The ball keeps on rolling for Sophie – the UK based radio station Chorley FM have just announced that they have chosen The Clapping Song as their Record-of-the-Week.
