For his studies on human genetics and stem cells, the college awarded Dr. Cauchi a Master of Science with distinction.
Through his research in medical sciences at the University of Oxford, Dr. Cauchi made novel and important contributions to the cutting-edge field of genetic disorders. His work is featured in several journals including a high-profile report published last year in the prestigious journal, Public Library of Science (PLoS) Genetics. In Oxford, Dr. Cauchi was supervised by Dame Kay Davies, one of the most influential science entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom.
