Last week the Italian drama Group “Arte della Gioia” from Pisoniano (Rome) performed the musical Paulus at Teatru Govanni at the Parish Centre of Xewkija in front of a large crowd.
Paulus is written and composed by Fabio Baggio and is based on the life of St Paul during his days in Rome.
At the conclusion of the musical, Xewkija’s Archpriest Mons.Carmelo Mercieca thanked the Italian group for choosing Teatru Govanni and praised the high quality of the show.
The Italian production team also showed their satisfaction with the great teamwork from the members of the Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija, whose help and co-operation was really appreciated by the Italian production team.
