The Electoral Commission notifies those persons whose name appears in the European Union Electoral Register published in April 2009 and who have not yet received their voting document for the election of Members of the European Parliament as well as those persons whose name appears in the Local Councils Electoral Register published in April 2009 and who have not yet received their voting document for the Local Councils Election, that they may call personally and present their identity card at their local Police Station to collect their voting document during the days and office hours indicated below:
from Wednesday the 20th of May to Saturday 31st May:
Mondays to Saturdays: between 8.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and;
between 3.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.
Sunday 24th May: between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.
Sunday 31st May: between 8.00 a.m. and noon
In the locality of St Paul’s Bay voting documents shall be collected from the Qawra Police Station, while for the localities of Iklin, Lija, Marsaskala, Pembroke, Pieta’, Swieqi, Ta’ Xbiex, Fontana and Xewkija, voting documents shall be collected from the Local Council Office. All applicants must show their identity card.
Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his possession as nobody shall be allowed to vote without it on polling day, Saturday 6th June, 2009.
