The Nadur Youth Council together with the Nadur Local Council will be organising their May Fair 2009 from the 1st to the 3rd of May, at St Peter and St Paul Square. There will be a book fair, activities for children and entertainment for everyone.
A writing competition in Maltese, open to all to Gozitans over 16 years of age, is being held. Contestants are to present their original work, being prose or poetry, between 500 to 800 words, entitled, ‘Il-Ktieb: Ilbierah, Illum,..U Ghada?’
The jury to choose the winner will be selected by the “Kunsill Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb,” while finalists will be announced on the last day of the ‘ Mayfair.’
Note: Three copies of the work are to be handed into the Nadur Local Council, North Str., Nadur Gozo NDR 1222 by Wednesday, the 8th of April, 2009.
The name on the work is to be ‘nom de plume,’ while details of the participant are to be included in the envelope.
