A reminder that a fair organised by the group of children who form the Projectnews team, will be held this Sunday, the 22nd of March 2009. There will be lots of items for sale including books, food and beverages, stationery, plants, gifts and also a carwash and much more.

All the money raised during the fair, will be donated to Puttinu Cares, the organisation which helps children who are ill with cancer. This organisation is currently paying for apartments it has just bought in the UK for relatives of children who are sent to the UK to get aid for their illness.

The fair will take place outside the Mater Dei Hospital entrance, between 8am and 8pm. This fair is being held after the great success that was made from a book fair held last December at the Mater Dei Hospital foyer. All funds were given to Puttinu Cares.

The fair is being sponsored by Intervision Ltd, Segway Malta, GDL – Local Distributors for Dadi Star, Smart Office Supplies Ltd Qormi, the book The Haunted Mansion, Zammit Gardens and Nursery Santa Venera, Radisson Baypoint, James Caterers, General Softdrinks, Maypole, Spiterifashions.com, Capital Radio, Agenda Bookshops and Papillon Caterers.

Projectnews, a TV programme which deals with news and current affairs from a different perspective, from the children’s view, is aired on Wednesdays at 4.30pm with a repeat on Saturdays at 10.30am on TVM and is presented by a team made up of 16 children.
