A 79-year-old Nadur man has been found burnt to death in his bed at his residence this morning.
The police attended at the victims residence in Triq Majza following the report of a fire, after the fire had been extinguished the mans body was found.
The victim is understood to have been alone in the house.
An inquiry is underway and the police are continuing with their investigations.

I would like to know why it took fire trucks three quarters of an hour to respond. I think this is outragious. They are only 5 minutes away from this home. From people I spoke to they said that when they arrived the firefighters took their time entering the home.
