HSBC in Gozo the best in customer service again

The Gozo Area in HSBC has received the Bank’s Area Award for Best Customer Service. This is the second time HSBC’s Gozo area received the award for its service during 2008.
The title is awarded on the merits received through a bi-annual Customer Satisfaction Survey compiled by HSBC’s customers. Runners-up were the Bank’s Central Area in Malta.
“While I congratulate Area Director for Gozo Richard Mercieca and his teams in the Victoria branch and Nadur and Xaghra agencies for their excellent results, I express my satisfaction at the overall results of the survey across the whole branch network which once again reflect a very high service quality throughout,” said Ray Briffa, Head of Channel Management at HSBC Malta. “I must add that the average score under ‘Overall Quality of Branch’ in the latest Customer Service Satisfaction Survey is actually slightly up from the score registered in the first survey of the same year. This is indeed commendable as it reflects HSBC staff`s continued dedicated commitment towards our esteemed customers.”
Ray Briffa also took the opportunity to thank Area Director Richard Mercieca for his service to the Bank over the years as he will be retiring shortly and to wish Paul Curmi who will be taking over the role with effect from the 1st of April 2009 every success.
