Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria is holding an exhibition of paintings by Peter Heywood at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria.
Mr Heywoods paintings are varied, including such Gozo scenes as Sta Lucija Square and church, streets, balconies, bands and sailing yachts.
Mr Heywood was born in Yorkshire in 1944 and is a self-taught artist. Starting in the early 1970s he exhibited at the Paris Spring Exhibition, and a number of galleries in the UK. He then moved to Cape Town in 1995 and held exhibitions there and also in Venice.
His exhibition is open until the 6th of May, opening times are from 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to noon and 1 to 4pm on Saturdays and from 9am to noon on Sundays.
