The management and staff of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz have said they would loke to extend a warm welcome to Ms Tanja Mueller, who is taking up her new post as director of sales on the 1st of March 2009.
Born in Germany, Ms Mueller enjoyed wide-ranging training in the hotel and tourism industry in her home country and the USA. She went on to gain invaluable work experience in various placements at luxury hotels in Switzerland, Italy and Austria, the majority of which formed part of the prestigious Kempinski group. For the past three years, Ms Mueller worked at one of Kempinski’s trophy hotels, the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains in the ski resort of St Moritz, initially as Groups & Events Supervisor before being promoted to groups & events manager, and in 2008 to assistant fdrector of Sales.
With her extensive knowledge of a holiday resort that faces seasonality problems similar to those of Gozo, and her expertise in the MICE business, Ms Mueller is going to be a definite asset in leading our sales and marketing department,” said Noel Attard, General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz.

I would congratulate Ms Mueller on her new post .I visited Kempinski this last year quite often .The only thing that irratates me is .How come I manage to see the vast majority of waiters of foreign descent and I say this literary .What is the reason for this .Is it that Gozo waiters are not good enough.
I have to agree with you there swimmer. Surely it should be a case of Gozo jobs for Gozo people.
