Water Explorer has congratulated the St Francis Primary School, Victoria, Gozo, for being awarded as its current top team
The school’s Water Explorer team – the Franciscans – have been exploring and discovering new ways of saving water and of raising awareness of the global water situation since the beginning of the school year.
The students had the opportunity to visit different spots along the Marsalforn valley, one shallow and the other deeper, both with flowing water, and caught different creatures in their nets from both areas.
They discovered that in the shallow spot there were more insects and bugs, while in the deeper there were more frogs etc.
Water Explorer said that it is not just the team who have been hard at work, but the whole school who has been involved and many students have even reached out to their families to get involved.
“For every mission they’ve faced, they’ve gone into great detail researching their approach and ensuring they get as many people involved as they can,” it said.
