Chorus Urbanus Feel the Magic concerts and events with guest artistsGozo choir, Chorus Urbanus, recently launched a new 3-year project – Feel the Magic – as part of the Gozo Cultural Support Programme, through which they will present a series of concerts and events throughout the year with the participation of Chorus Urbanus together with other local and foreign artists.

Feel the Magic, will include at least one major open-air concert in summer, and Chorus Urbanus said, will also be exploring different genres of music, as well as presenting the opportunity to local audiences to appreciate music in its various cultural facets, hence the – Feel the Magic – concept.

The choir said that the project is designed to attract a diverse and wide audience, with a wide-spread appeal where all tastes are addressed. Such is the philosophy behind the Project that promises events that are attractive and compelling to one and all.

Feel the Magic of Piazzolla is the next event in the series, and will be presented on Saturday, the the 4th of May at Independence Square, Victoria, as part of the Gozo Alive weekend organised by the Ministry for Gozo.

The Sicily Ensemble under the direction of Mro Franco Foderà will be the guest performer for this event.

The ensemble will be performing a varied selection of Latin American music, most notably a number of tangos composed by the world-renown composer, Astor Piazzolla.
