Gozo affairs discussed during debate with MEP candidates

A debate with MEP candidates and an MEP, on – Gozitan Workers and the EU – was held on Saturday, organised by the Association of Gozitan Employees in Malta.
MEP Michael Cramer attended and discussed his experience with the EU institutions, and how green transportation will be key and vital for Gozo.
MEP Candidates Arnold Cassola, David Stellini, Frank Psaila and Martin Cauchi Inglot were present. The Association said that LP candidates were invited, but were unable to attend due to a party duty.
Several themes were discussed, such as green transportation, Gozo and its regionality, the future of Gozo and how jobs can be created. “The tunnel was also discussed, defended and criticised,” the Association said.
Moderator for the debate was President of the Association Sean Zammit.
The AGEM thanked everyone who attended, as well as John Borg who took photographs during the debate.
The next event will be a debate will be to mark the occasion of Europe Day, and organised by the Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria in collaboration with Association of Gozitan Employees in Malta.
The debate is taking place next Sunday, the 28th of April at the Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria, between 5pm and 6:30pm. European Parliament candidates from different political parties will be debating on Europe.
