Lunzjata Valley palm trees in need of a trim - Anthony Zammit“We are very lucky in Gozo to have such a Vally as The Lunzjata Valley. I always take my guests for a walk from the gate to the last Fountain.

Understandably it is all “No Entry” for it is privately owned. Yesterday I met two French people who really wanted to walk down the valley towards Xlendi, but there is no public track.Lunzjata Valley palm trees in need of a trim - Anthony ZammitI will not get into it because I am not well informed, yet I would like to ask whoever is responsible if it is possible to give the poor palm trees seen on the photo a trim.

I guess they will feel healthier and make the valley look nicer.

Thank you.

Anthony Zammit,

Victoria.

There is indeed a lovely track below the maquis down to Xlendi main road but it is closed by a small gate. Whenever school children are taken to wied il-Luzjata, the walk is just 50m from the arch to the fountain and that’s it. I would strongly suggest that the path is opened to the public giving funds to raise barriers to private borders. P.s. The natural look of the palm trees look awesome for me.
