Paintings by the artist Anastasia Ponyatovskaya will be on display in an exhibition entitled ‘Kaleidoscope’ to be opened this coming Friday, the 6th of February, at the St John Hall, Cittadella Centre for Culture and the Arts, Victoria, Gozo.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 8.00pm by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, and Sergey Medvedev, Director of Russian Culture.
The opening hours from the 7th of February, will be Monday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm, Sundays and Public Holidays, 11.am – 3pm. The exhibition closes on Friday the 6th of March.
Ms. Ponyatovskaya attended the Lucaium Ioganson attached to Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg Russia for 4 years, followed by the Academy of Arts in the Republic of Moldova for 5 years, during which she accomplished many facets of art techniques. Since becoming a member of the Moldova Union of Artists in 2004,she has become widely revered for her unique style and imagination.
In an effort to expose her many talents, she has participated in numerous art exhibitions including: Moldova, Russia, Germany, Latvia, Malta, Gozo and Italy. To further her experiences she relocated to Gozo, where she now continues her work and studies. Having seen the rich culture of the islands, she finds Gozo and Malta very inspiring, and her works can be seen in various businesses around Gozo.
