Let’s all Get Active – Free Sports Festival in Gozo for all the family

Let’s all Get Active – is a free Sports Festival which is being held at the Gozo Sports Complex. Being active is important to help children grow and develop.
With this in mind, a group of second year University students, teamed up together in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo and sports entities in order to organise a family fun event full of physical activities and sport promotion for all ages.
There will be a Mass for children at the Sports Complex, starting at at 9.15am, led by Fr Simon Cachia.
Just some of the activities on offer next Sunday, include a spectacular opening performance by the Centre Stage Dance Academy; Kinetika Gozo will have a fun challenge for all adults during the event…. Spinning Challenge! One month’s free membership for the winner;Face painting for children; A spectacular performance by Team Netta Kids; A fun active session with a Zumba work out led by a fully qualified instructor; Gymnpro Gozo will use different equipment for children to try out this sport while being assisted by professional coaches; The Malta Wheelchair Basketball will hold a workshop for anyone interested in trying out this sport and a Workshop for children and adults and a demo by the Gozo Spirit Combat International Club.
There will also be a mini food stall on the day, this will include fresh Maltese ftajjar, fresh picked strawberries and hot and cold beverages.
Let’s all Get Active – takes place next Sunday, the 7th of April, from 9am to 1pm and donations collected on the day will go to Puttinu Cares.
