Cinderella and Independence are the subjects of next 2 Il-Hagar lectures

Il Hagar Museum Gozo, has announced its next two public lectures in the Saturday series, with both covering completely different subjects.
In the first lecture, on Saturday, the 23rd of March, Dutch art historian and social anthropologist Dra Veronica Veen, will be looking at the Cinderella theme which she has developed in her recent book – The Maltese Cinderella.
Dra. Veen also has an innovative exhibition, at the museum, until the 11th of April, during which this and other publications can be acquired.
Then on Saturday, the 30th of March, Professor Joseph Pirotta will be discussing -Independence: Borg Olivier, Mintoff and Gonzi. This will be in relation to research he has just published, which will be available on the day.
Both lectures will be delivered in English and start at 11am. Entrance is free but booking on firstname.lastname@example.org is recommended.
The museum is located in St George’s Square, and is open free of charge 9am-5pm, seven days a week.
