Live Wire – is an exhibition of oils and acrylics by Anthony Lucian Cauchi at Il-Hagar Museum, Gozo.
As a painter, sculptor and designer, Anthony has held many solo exhibitions. He was born in Qormi (1948) but lives in St. Julians. He studied art at the Government School of Art (Drawing and Sculpture), St. Joseph Technical (Ceramic) School, M.C.A.S.T. Ceramic School, Targa-Cap and the Academy ‘Pietro Vannucci’ in Perugia, Italy.
Anthony won the Bronze Medal, International Postal Union Art Competition in Lugano, Switzerland. In 1986, he won another Bronze Medal in the same competition in Rome, Italy.
Live Wire is open from the 2nd to the 26th of March, 9am – 5pm seven days a week. There is no entrance fee.
On the first anniversary of Maestro Joseph Vella’s demise, there is currently also an Exhibition at the museum highlighting the Professor’s use of the Maltese language as a medium for musical treatment: – Pioneer and Leader.
