Gozo Model Car Association Championship 5th Round held on Saturday

The Gozo Model Car Association held the 5th Round of the Championship 2018-2019 on Saturday at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track.
GMCA welcomed its new member Melchior Debono who will be competing with a Mugen Chassis and a Ninja Engine.
In Truggies Class final, Christian Farrugia was placed first with 27 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Novarossi Engine taking 10 points to move up to first place in the Championship table with 38 points. He was followed by Marlon Le Prevost with 26 laps with a Tekno RC Chassis and a Reds Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Mark Zammit with 25 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Reds Engine.
In the final of the Buggies Class, Miguel Attard came in first with 25 laps with a Intech chassis and an Alpha Engine taking 10 points to move up to 2nd place in the Championship table with 24 points. He was followed closely by Championship Leader Andrew Zammit with 25 laps with a Hongnor chassis and a Sirio Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Melchior Debono with 22 laps with an Mugen Chassis and a Ninja Engine.
At the end of the day the winners of the final event had their photo taken on the podium to the applause of their fellow competitors and supporters.
The sixth round of the Championship will be held on the 23rd of February, starting at 1.30pm at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track.
