|Email item||Print item||
There is a constant need of blood donations for patients in the hospitals of Gozo and Malta, and the National Blood Transfusion Service said that to meet these demands it needs the ongoing support of all those who are healthy.
It is therefore calling for “greater commitment” from Gozitans who are fit enough to donate, to attend a session in Gozo this Sunday, the 17th of February.
The District Health Centre in Xewkija will be taking donations between 8:00am to 1:00pm (last registration until 1:00pm).
The Centre is located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
The Service reminded that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
The Service thanks everyone in advance who intends to donate.
