Next Friday, Gozo gets into full swing with a host of events taking place over the following weeks all themed around romance and love for Valentine’s Day.
Gozo, according to legend, was Homer’s isle of Ogygia, where the nymph Calypso held the Greek hero Odysseus as her `prisoner of love’ for seven years.
So with romance in mind, Gozo is the ideal place to spend some time at Valentine’s and enjoy the culture, entertainment, local food, and of course – be with the one you love.
Opening next Friday is a collective art exhibition – Love from a Woman’s Eye, featuring work by Rosita Kvas, Emma Borg, Abi Macleod Clark.
The exhibition looks at the way women perceive, receive and transmit love.
Taking place at the Cittadella Cultural Centre Hall 2, Victoria, entrance to the exhibition is free of charge, and opens Friday, the 1st to Thursday, the 28th of February, from 10:00am to 4:30pm every day.
