The stories covered in this weeks issue are:

Six former band players of the La Stella Philharmonic Society were made honorary band-players in recognition of their long and sterling service for the society. Three other band players were presented with gifts for having served the band for the past 50 years.

The traditional motor vehicles pilgrimage from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary to the Immaculate Conception Sanctuary at Qala.

Qala council is using part of €71,000 in funding it received to restore St Anthony’s Fort in Qala.

Restoration works are under the supervision of the well known architect Edward Scerri.

The fort was visited recently by Parliamentary Secretary Dr Chris Said.

Sadie is the first baby to be born in Gozo this year.
