4th Round of the Gozo Model Car Association Championship

The Gozo Model Car Association held the fourth round of the Gozo Model Car Association Championship 2018-2019 on Saturday at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track.
In the final of the Truggies Class, Marlon Le Prevost was placed first with 25 laps with a Tekno RC Chassis and a Reds Engine taking 10 points to move up to third place of the Championship table with 22 points.
He was followed by Christian Farrugia with 24 laps with a Mugen Chassis and an Alpha Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Mario Grech also with 21 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Sirio Engine.
In the Buggies Class Final, Christian Farrugia took first place with 25 laps with a Mugen chassis and an Alpha Engine taking 10 points to move up to 5th place in the Championship table with 14 points.
He was followed by Championship Leader Andrew Zammit with 24 laps with a Hongnor chassis and a Sirio Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Anthony Camilleri with 22 laps with an Intech Chassis and an Rc Concept Engine.
The winners of the final event had their photograph taken on the podium to the applause of their fellow competitors and supporters. The event was sponsored by 4wheelhobby Malta.
Next Sunday, the 27th of January the Mega Event is going to be held at the track throughout the day. Starting at 8.00am in the morning, the drivers will be registered and filled in on the regulations of the event. Races will continue till late afternoon.
The fifth round of the Championship will be held on Saturday, the 9th of February at 1.30pm at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track.
