Two foreigners appear in Gozo Court on Christmas morning

Police have said that two men have appeared in the Gozo Court this morning, The first, a 24-year old Nigerian man, who lives in Zebbug, was charged with grievously injuring a 30-year old man, during an incident in Xlendi, which took place on Sunday.
He was also charged with breaching the peace, creating public disorder, and breaching conditions of a previous ruling. The man pleaded not guilty to the charges, however bail was refused by the Court.
The second man, a 30-year-old Somali, who lives in Munxar, pleaded not guilty to charges of public disorder, breaching the peace, and breaching previous conditions from Court. The man was granted bail.
The prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.
