Adrian Parnis of Victoria Hotspurs is GFA Player of the Month

Adrian Parnis, Victoria Hotspurs goalkeeper, is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for October.
BOV said that the goalkeeper had an outstanding performance against Xewkija Tigers, where a string of outstanding saves kept a 2-0 negative scoreline.
“His fine form was also clearly evident in their 3-1 win over Gharb Rangers and a 2-0 win over SK Victoria Wanderers,” said BOV. “He also made a great save in the penalty shootout against Siggiewi in the second round of the FA Trophy.
During October, Parnis also captained Team Gozo in their commitments in the UEFA Regions Cup.
This is Parnis’s third consecutive season at Victoria Hotspurs. The 28-year old started his career with Munxar Falcons and has played in Gozo top flight football with various teams.
He was one of the protagonists in Victoria Hotspurs’ double last season and has won the BOV Gozo 1st Division League with Sannat Lions and Xewkija Tigers.
Executive, Gozo Region for Bank of Valletta, Horace Laudi, presented the trophy to Parnis who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
