Public Speaking Competition for Gozo students - second editionThe second annual English language Public Speaking Competition in Gozo for senior students, is being arranged by the Gozo Branch of the English Speaking Union with support from the Rotary Club of Gozo.

The Gozo branch of the ESU said that following its work with students in the Gozo College Secondary School, and its Summer Schools in the last two years, where students demonstrated excellent standards of public speaking, it is once again holding the competition in English for Gozitan students.

The competition will be held at the Gozo College Secondary School in Victoria, on Friday, the 7th of December 2018, starting at 5pm.

Students’ prepared speeches on the general theme of ‘A Diverse Society is a Sustainable Society’ will be assessed by a panel of expert judges, including Dr Anthony Galea, winner of the Junior Chamber International World Public Speaking Championship, held in India earlier this month.

The ESU Gozo said that the hall will seat up to 70, so be sure to keep the date free for this exciting event for Gozo. The audience is asked to please be seated by 4.50pm, as latecomers will not be admitted while a speech is in progress.
