Let’s Nature at Ta’ Cenc with Friends of the Earth Malta next Sunday

The final event of the Let’s Nature series of walks in Gozo’s Natura 2000 sites, is next Sunday with Friends of the Earth Malta, and this time it will be in the beautiful setting of Ta’ Cenc.
FoE are inviting everyone to join them next Sunday, the the 11th of November at 1pm, for a series of walks, when they will also be discussing good food and good farming practices.
Annalise Falzon will be the guide on a walk providing information along the way of the flora at Ta’Cenc, following which the participants will visit a local farm.
Kelinu, a farmer who has fields at the site, will be taking everyone for a tour around his fields, where you will be joined by a chef to prepare a meal together from local produce.
Discussions will focus on the value of Nature 2000 sites, food production, agriculture in Malta and how agricultural policies influence farmers and the food we eat.
Let’s Nature at ta’ Cenc starts at 1pm at Triq Ta’ Cenc, Sannat. The event is free of charge however bookings need to be made with a returnable deposit which can be done online by clicking here.
